Does Seared charge commissions?
No. Orders through your website and app carry zero commission. You pay a flat monthly price per location, and you keep 100% of your menu price on every order.
What does it cost?
$99 a month per location, with everything included: website, online ordering, your branded app, loyalty, and marketing. Setup covers your hardware, your apps, the website build, and all the menu work, and we quote it on your demo call. See pricing and how we compare.
Are there card fees on my side?
No. A small service fee is paid by the diner at checkout: 5%, with a $1.99 minimum and a $7.50 cap. It never comes out of your menu price.
Does Seared work with my POS?
Yes. Seared connects to Toast, Square, Clover, Revel, PAR Brink, NCR Aloha, Foodhub, and CaterEase, so online orders land right in the system you already use. Don't see yours? We can look at a custom connection.
What happens to my customer data?
It's yours. Names, emails, phone numbers, and order history, exportable any time. We never sell it, and it leaves with you if you cancel.
Who do I call when something comes up?
Us. Seared is owner-run: my team handles the day-to-day, and I stay personally involved with every restaurant we take on. No call center and no ticket queue.
Do you work with restaurants outside Ohio?
Yes. Seared works with independent restaurants anywhere in the US. Setup is done remotely, your hardware ships to you, and you go live in 2 to 3 weeks.
Can I keep DoorDash and Uber Eats?
Yes. Most restaurants keep them for discovery. Seared gives your regulars a cheaper, better way to order straight from you, so more of your orders stop paying 15 to 30%.
Do I need a website already?
No. My team builds your site as part of setup. If you have one you love, we can add ordering to it instead.
Will my site show up on Google?
Yes. Every Seared site is built for search from day one: fast pages, your menu as real text, local business markup, and a sitemap.
