This Privacy Policy explains how Seared collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, submit a form, or place an order through a restaurant that uses Seared. Seared is a product of Woosh Delivery, based in Wooster, Ohio. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. When a restaurant owner fills out an onboarding or contact form, we collect details such as name, email, phone number, business name, address, hours, menu, and other information needed to set up and run the service.
• Order information. When a customer places an order through a Seared-powered restaurant, we and our ordering provider process the details needed to fulfill that order, such as name, contact information, order contents, and payment confirmation. Card payments are handled by our payment processors, and we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and device information. Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical information such as browser type, device, pages viewed, and general location derived from your IP address.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. We use Microsoft Clarity for usage metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic and audience measurement. These tools may capture how you interact with pages so we can find and fix problems and improve the site.

We also use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, including which visits and booking requests came from an ad. The pixel may set cookies and share limited interaction data, such as pages viewed and buttons clicked, with Meta Platforms, Inc. These analytics cookies are optional. If you are in a region that requires prior consent, such as the EU, EEA, or UK, they do not load until you accept, and declining sets no analytics cookies. Elsewhere, analytics are enabled by default. Either way, you can review or change your choice at any time using Manage cookie preferences, or through your browser settings.

How we use information

• To set up, provide, and support restaurant websites, online ordering, mobile apps, and marketing.
• To process and fulfill orders placed through Seared-powered restaurants.
• To communicate with restaurant partners about their account, and, where permitted, to send marketing on their behalf to their own customers.
• To improve our website, products, and support.
• To protect against fraud and to meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate, such as ordering, payment, hosting, analytics, and communication partners, and only as needed to deliver the service. We may also share information when required by law or to protect our rights. When a customer orders from a restaurant, the relevant order information is shared with that restaurant so it can prepare and fulfill the order.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests as required by law.

Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites and services, such as booking tools and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated directly to restaurant partners.
