Frequently asked questions

Is there a contract?

No. Seared is month-to-month. If it's not working, cancel and you're done, and your customer list leaves with you.

What does setup include?

Everything it takes to launch: your kitchen hardware, your branded apps in the App Store and Google Play, your website, and all the menu work. My team sets it up, connects your POS, and trains your staff, and you review it all before it goes live. We quote setup on your demo call, once we know your menu and the hardware your kitchen needs.

Who pays the card processing?

The diner, through a small checkout fee: 5%, with a $1.99 minimum and a $7.50 cap. You keep 100% of your menu price.

Why is Seared so much cheaper than the big platforms?

Because I'm not paying for a sales floor in a big city. Seared is owner-run, built for independent restaurants in small and mid-size towns, and priced for them.

Do you work with restaurants outside Ohio?

Yes, anywhere in the US. Setup is done remotely, your hardware ships to you, and you go live in 2 to 3 weeks.

I have more than one location. How does pricing work?

It's $99 a month per location, and every location gets the full platform. Book a demo and we'll get your whole group set up.

How fast can I go live?

Usually 2 to 3 weeks from our first call.
